 I'm so glad you're here. It takes tremendous courage to seek help and I don't take that lightly. We live in a society that is obsessed with food and our bodies… BUT it doesn’t have to be this way. I specialize in eating disorders and I help people ditch diet culture and the shame and guilt around food. I help people develop a more positive relationship with food and their bodies. Along with eating disorders, I have experience treating anxiety disorders, major depressive disorder, and helping high school and college students navigate life stressors.

 

Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I guide clients to learn how to manage personal problems and situational crises effectively, develop strategies to cope with stress, and cultivate self-awareness, personal responsibility, and skills for life-long mental health well-being. At Clear Mind Center in Frederick, I strive to raise awareness, advocate for, and empower clients daily, helping them achieve clarity of mind and emotional strength.​

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and received my Bachelor's degree from Ohio University and my Masters of Social Work

 from t University of Pennsylvania. For self-care, I enjoy reading, drinking Dunkin Iced Coffee all year round, and moving my body.  Although it's usually chaos, I love spending time with my husband and three children.
